To create an email account, log in to your control panel (https://yourdomain.tld/cpanel - replace yourdomain.tld with your actual domain) and go to the "Mail" section, then click on "Email Accounts".

Once you are in the "Email Accounts" section you can easily add/remove email accounts.

To add an email account:

  1. Click on the "Create" button
  2. Select the domain on which the email account should be created
  3. You can set a password now by selecting "Set password now." or send a link to someone to set the password afterwards by selecting "Send login link to alternate email address."
    1. If you choose the second option, please note that the link to set a password expires within 24 hours. Should the link expire, you can either set the password manually in cPanel or delete and create the email account again.
    2. We highly recommend using the password generator by clicking on the "Generate" button to set a strong password. There are malicious bots across the internet that constantly try to break into random email accounts that use weak passwords, so regardless of the size of your business, it's always a good idea to use a strong password.
  4. Click on the "Edit Settings" near the "Optional Settings" section
    1. Define a storage space limit under "Storage Space".
      1. If this limit is exceeded, the email account will stop receiving incoming emails, and the sent emails and drafts will no longer be saved.
    2. Leave the other options enabled if desired.
  5. Click on the "Create" button.

The email account will be created and can start sending/receiving emails.

You can use the Webmail interface at https://yourdomain.tld/webmail (replace yourdomain.tld with your actual domain) to manage the email account and to send/receive emails. If you would like to add this account to your email program or mobile device, you can find the setup information by clicking on the "Connect Devices" button on the "Email Accounts" page.
