We recognise that sometimes businesses and individuals experience cash-flow issues. If you need a payment extension, please first review the information below. To request an extension, please open a support ticket with our Billing Department and we will do our best to assist you. We can normally grant a further extension provided there is a good payment history in the past.

Hosting Renewals

We offer a 10-day grace period by standard on all hosting renewals. If you are going to be able to make payment within 10 days after the invoice due date, you don't need to contact us - your hosting service will remain active.

Server Renewals
We offer a 7-day grace period by standard on all server renewals. If you are going to be able to make payment within 7 days after the invoice due date, you don't need to contact us - your server will remain active.

Domain Renewals
Different domain extensions are managed by various registries. For example, Verisign is responsible for .COM names, EURid is responsible for .EU names, Afnic is responsible for .FR (French) names. Each registry has their own grace periods. Generally speaking, domain names will stop working on their expiry date. You should ensure you renew your domain name(s) in advance to prevent any interruption to the associated website/email service.
There are a few exceptions where it would be fine if your domain name is renewed a little late. Nominet (the .UK registry) has a 30 day grace period and .IE (the Irish domain registry) has a 40-day grace period. We recommend you always renew on time, but if you need a payment extension - you could hypothetically renew these extensions late and there would not be any interruption to the website/email during the grace period.
